Short answer

Foursquare City Guide has shut down, but Swarm can still export your data. Drop a check-ins file from that export (named like checkins1.json) into the box below — each place you checked in to becomes one pin in an Apple Maps Guide. For saved lists, or to pick only some places, use a spreadsheet with Name and Address columns (template).

How do I export my Foursquare saved places?

City Guide has shut down, so use Swarm: request a copy of your data there. Its check-in files (named like checkins1.json) upload here directly. For saved lists, copy the places into the CSV template and upload that.

Can I transfer Swarm checkins to Apple Maps?

Yes. Drop a check-ins file from your Swarm data export into the converter: each venue becomes one place, with its last check-in date as a note. Visit counts don't come across.

What happens to my Foursquare categories and notes?

They stay behind. The template holds a name and an address for each place, so categories, notes and ratings don't come across.

Is the Foursquare conversion free?

Yes. It's free and needs no account, for up to 1,500 places per file.
