Copying places from Yelp

  • Take the full address. Each Yelp business page shows it — copy the street and city, not just the neighborhood.
  • Chains need it most. A chain can have many branches with the same name; the address tells the converter which one you saved.

Can I export my Yelp bookmarks or collections?

No. Yelp has no official export of bookmarks or collections, so list the businesses in the CSV template and upload that.

Do my Yelp reviews and photos come across?

No. The template holds a name and an address per business, so your reviews, photos and check-ins stay on Yelp.

What if a business doesn't match?

It's listed after the conversion. Search for it in Apple Maps and add it to your Guide by hand.
